Supply Chain Planner Internship – Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg

About the role

Join Tesla’s Material Planning team at the Gigafactory Berlin‑Brandenburg as a Supply Chain Planner Intern. You will support day‑to‑day material planning activities and contribute to projects that improve the supply chain for vehicle parts.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in material planning to meet production demands for current and new vehicle programs.
• Maintain accurate MRP data, validate delivery quantities and due dates, and resolve discrepancies.
• Support onboarding and training of new suppliers, ensuring compliance with Tesla’s supply‑chain processes.
• Prepare material coverage and cost analyses, and provide data‑driven decision support through scenario planning.
• Participate in system enhancements to better reflect supply‑chain information.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Production, Logistics, Procurement, NPI) and external partners to optimise material flow.
• Gain hands‑on experience in ramp‑up of material planning at a high‑volume electric‑vehicle factory.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a relevant study programme such as Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
• Knowledge of logistics and material planning concepts; experience with supplier relationships is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset, proactive and independent work attitude.
• Excellent communication skills in English; German language skills are advantageous.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic, international environment.
