Supply Chain Specialist – Material Operations

About the role

In order to support the German Material Support On‑Site team, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist in Material Operations. The role is part of the Airbus Military Germany Customer Services organisation and reports to the Material Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely, cost‑efficient and high‑quality material management of spare parts and repairs.
• Support the procurement, repair and logistics processes.
• Implement new logistic services according to operational needs of the German Air Force.
• Obtain offers for logistics services and coordinate related activities.
• Manage material and logistics data flows and ensure smooth information exchange.
• Assist the DE Material Manager and Material Operations Manager with logistic support services for the German customer.
• Handle information flow for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• University degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or a comparable qualification.
• Professional experience in logistics and supply chain.
• Business‑fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
