System Administrator – Analytics Platforms

About the role

As a System Administrator for our analytics platforms, you will be responsible for maintaining the infrastructure that powers our automotive market pricing tools. You will work closely with data scientists, engineers, and analysts to ensure high availability, security, and performance of servers, databases, and data pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and update servers, databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and cloud data warehouses.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures.
• Apply security patches, manage user accounts, perform regular backups and test disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with data teams to provide technical support and ensure infrastructure meets their needs.
• Maintain clear documentation of configurations, procedures, and best practices.
• Research emerging technologies (cloud, containerization, orchestration) and recommend improvements for scalability and automation.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a System Administrator or DevOps engineer in a data or analytics environment.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows Server administration.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and virtualization.
• Solid understanding of security protocols, backup/recovery, and monitoring tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field; certifications are a plus.
