System Integration and Validation Engineer

About the role

Applied Intuition is looking for a System Integration and Validation Engineer to join its Stuttgart office. You will work at the intersection of system integration and validation, building and configuring hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HiL) environments for cutting‑edge vehicle platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, configure, and commission dSPACE and Vector HiL test benches, lab vehicles, and test environments from scratch for new projects.
• Develop and integrate complex vehicle simulation models in MATLAB/Simulink and connect them directly to HiL hardware.
• Analyse high‑level system requirements, bridge functional gaps, and design end‑to‑end validation strategies even when documentation is limited.
• Write robust automation scripts in Python to run tests across simulated, bench, and prototype vehicle setups.
• Configure vehicle communication networks (ARXML, K‑Matrix) across CAN, Automotive Ethernet, FlexRay, and LIN protocols.
• Perform deep‑dive failure analysis, collaborating with core engineering teams and OEM partners to resolve system‑level bugs.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in automotive systems validation, embedded systems, or hardware integration.
• Broad exposure to multiple vehicle domains such as ADAS, powertrain, body, or infotainment.
• Self‑starter mindset with the ability to work independently in ambiguous situations.
• Strong analytical skills and ownership of validation deliverables.
