Systems Engineer – Autonomous Driving

About the role

We are seeking a Systems Engineer with a strong automotive background in ADAS and autonomous driving to join our Stuttgart team. You will shape the technical direction of projects and drive the complete system‑engineering workflow in a fast‑moving, customer‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and manage system requirements for active safety and parking functions.
• Generate safety concepts and implement verification & validation (V&V) strategies.
• Measure and track key performance indicators across large sets of digital simulations and real‑world data.
• Utilise Applied Intuition’s simulation and data tools via a unified web frontend to monitor high‑level KPIs and drill into detailed test results.
• Translate automotive standards and regulations into functional requirements and test cases.

Required profile

• Professional experience in automotive ADAS or autonomous driving projects.
• Solid understanding of system engineering processes and safety standards.
• Hands‑on, results‑driven mindset with the ability to work collaboratively in a high‑pace team.

Required skills

• System requirements definition.

• Use of simulation and data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with automotive standards such as ISO 26262 and UN/ECE regulations.
