Tactical Data Link Expert (All Genders)

About the role

Stark is seeking a Tactical Data Link Expert to support the development, integration, testing and operational use of tactical data‑link capabilities across its unmanned systems and ground control stations. The role will ensure reliable, secure communication with military networks, command posts and allied platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate tactical data‑link technologies such as Link 16, Link 22 and SATCOM into Stark platforms and ground control stations.
• Define interoperability concepts enabling data exchange between unmanned systems, GCS setups, command centres and allied platforms.
• Translate operational and military communication requirements into technical integration specifications, interface definitions and test plans.
• Collaborate with engineering, software, RF, modem, antenna and network teams to align protocols, data flows and configuration requirements.
• Support long‑range and beyond‑line‑of‑sight communication concepts, including SATCOM integration and testing.

Required profile

• Proven experience with tactical data‑link standards and military communication systems.
• Strong understanding of integration processes for unmanned systems and ground control stations.
• Ability to work in constrained environments such as low‑bandwidth networks and air‑gapped devices.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to translate operational needs into technical solutions.
