Talent Acquisition Advisor – Semiconductor Industry

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Advisor to join Applied Materials’ Europe team, supporting our semiconductor business units in Germany. The 12‑month fixed‑term position is based in Dresden with occasional travel to Frankfurt and Alzenau, and requires full onsite presence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full life‑cycle recruitment process, ensuring a seamless experience for hiring managers and candidates.
• Partner with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand market needs and continuously improve recruitment strategies.
• Develop and execute strategic talent mapping and advanced sourcing techniques to attract top talent.
• Lead university events and early‑talent initiatives across multiple locations.
• Prepare and communicate contract offers, negotiate where applicable, and coordinate with HR and external agencies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Proven experience as a high‑performing recruiter in a corporate, high‑growth or fast‑paced environment, preferably in technology or engineering.
• Fluency in English and German and solid knowledge of German employment and labor laws.
• Experience coordinating university events or early‑talent programs.

• Workday Recruiting or similar ATS.
• MS Office suite.
• Applicant Tracking System (ATS) proficiency.
