Tax Specialist (Steuerfachangestellte:r)

About the role

We are looking for a Tax Specialist to support the execution and review of financial accounting, guide clients through annual financial statements and tax returns, and collaborate with product and support teams to improve processes.

Key responsibilities

• Support and review financial accounting tasks.
• Assist clients with annual financial statements and tax filings.
• Work closely with product and support teams to integrate feedback and enhance processes.
• Contribute to the development of our automated accounting system.
• Leverage technology to increase efficiency while empowering staff.

Required profile

• Completed training as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellte:r) or certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter:in) or equivalent.
• Initial experience in a tax firm is a plus.
• Fluent German (C1+); English proficiency is a plus.
• Strong client‑facing skills with the ability to explain complex topics simply.
• Tech‑savvy mindset open to automation and digital tools.

Required skills

• Proficiency with DATEV.
• Familiarity with Odoo (bonus).
