About the role
The Team Coordinator – Float supports front‑office operations by greeting patients, managing calls, and ensuring accurate patient information. This role works closely with clinical teams to maintain smooth patient flow and high satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Greet patients, assist with forms, and maintain patient flow.
- Screen and direct telephone calls, schedule appointments, and arrange callbacks.
- Verify and update patient demographics, insurance, consent, and HIPAA information.
- Process co‑pays, payments, and handle sliding‑fee inquiries.
- Print clinical summaries, enroll patients, assign primary care providers, and re‑schedule as needed.
- Deliver required paperwork to medical records or providers and monitor email flags for updates.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong organizational and typing skills; ability to operate office equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with the public.
