Team Lead Software Engineer – ABAP & Fiori

About the role

Serrala is looking for a Team Lead to drive the development of SAP Add‑Ons that support finance automation. You will combine hands‑on software engineering with people management to deliver high‑quality solutions in ABAP, RAP and SAP BTP.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full product lifecycle of standard SAP Add‑Ons, from coding standards to release management.
• Define architectural standards, review designs and guide platform evolution to ensure scalability and maintainability.
• Coach and develop a high‑performing engineering team through regular feedback, clear goals and continuous learning.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architecture teams and senior leadership to align scope, priorities and risk mitigation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 6 years of SAP development experience, with ABAP as a core skill.
• At least 2 years in a team‑lead role, successfully delivering projects and guiding engineers.
• Strong communication skills in English (C1); German is a plus.
