Technical Lead / Senior Backend Software Engineer (Python)

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Lead to drive the development of a SaaS platform that uses AI and machine learning to improve cancer diagnosis and treatment. The role combines backend engineering, data‑intensive processing, and cloud‑native deployment in a fast‑growing health‑tech spin‑off.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and deploy core backend services for a data‑heavy SaaS platform.
• Own end‑to‑end projects, ensuring scalability and reliability in a cloud environment.
• Collaborate with AI researchers to integrate cutting‑edge ML models into production.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, code quality standards, and operational monitoring.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead technical initiatives across the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Several years of experience in agile backend development, preferably in Python.
• Strong understanding of distributed data processing and cloud infrastructure.
• Proven ability to write robust, maintainable code and to lead technical projects.
