Technical Project Manager – Aerospace/Tooling

About the role

As part of eXcent’s growth in Germany, we are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our Hamburg team. The role combines technical expertise with commercial responsibility, overseeing aerospace and tooling projects from concept through to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical projects end‑to‑end, translating customer requirements into practical solutions.
• Coordinate design, supplier selection and production activities using CAD and robust project controls.
• Manage project timelines, budgets and risk, ensuring on‑time commissioning.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Drive continuous improvement across project processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience in mechanical design or tooling project coordination.
• Experience in aerospace and/or tooling environments.
• Proactive, confident communicator comfortable working with customers and suppliers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software.
