Technical Project Manager - Special Machinery

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with deep expertise in special machinery to join our fast‑growing semiconductor manufacturing technology team in Bochum, Germany. The role will lead the design, development and deployment of custom equipment for individual customer projects, ensuring seamless transition from prototype to production.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end project delivery, from concept through industrialisation and customer hand‑over.
• Plan, monitor and control project scope, budget, resources and critical milestones.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams across R&D, production, sales and field service.
• Serve as the primary contact for international customers, strategic partners and suppliers.
• Perform risk analyses and implement mitigation measures to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Organise project reviews, workshops and milestone meetings, reporting progress to executive management.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management methodologies and standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience managing complex technical, industrial or mechanical engineering projects.
• Proven track record in new‑product‑introduction (NPI) and scale‑up, moving products from development to production.
• Deep knowledge of special machinery construction, semiconductor technology or precision automated equipment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills in an international environment.
