Technical/Maintenance Manager

About the role

We are partnering with a leading manufacturing business in Dusseldorf that seeks a Technical/Maintenance Manager to lead its on‑site maintenance department. The role is part of the factory leadership team and is essential for ensuring smooth operations across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of electricians and mechanics, fostering technical expertise.
• Design, implement and continuously improve maintenance strategies on the shop floor.
• Oversee day‑to‑day maintenance activities, ensuring high equipment availability.
• Drive autonomous maintenance initiatives and process optimisation.
• Collaborate with other departments to align maintenance plans with production targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a technical team of electrical and mechanical engineers.
• Hands‑on background in a maintenance function, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Fluent in both German and English.
• Right to work in the EU.

Required skills

• Good working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
