Test Bench Technician

About the role

NAXCON GmbH is looking for a Test Bench Technician to join its defence‑focused engineering team in Bremen. You will work on the assembly, commissioning and testing of mechanical and electrical sub‑assemblies, ensuring high‑quality delivery for customer‑specific systems.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical sub‑assemblies according to drawings, BOMs and work instructions.
• Commission and test devices and systems, perform interface tests and record results.
• Troubleshoot electronic assemblies using circuit and signal diagrams, repair faults and document actions in SAP.
• Manufacture test cables and modify PCBs following changeover instructions.
• Prepare production, test and findings reports and ensure timely processing of production orders.
• Conduct functional tests on returned or modernised equipment, analyse faults down to component level and execute repairs or upgrades.

Required profile

• Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or a comparable field.
• Several years of professional experience in assembling electronic sub‑assemblies.
• Good knowledge of German and basic English.
• Familiarity with MS Office and SAP.
• Goal‑oriented, precise, quality‑aware and able to work well in a team.
