Trainee in Purchasing (m/f/d)

About the role

Valeo is offering a two‑year international Young Talent Accelerator Program for recent graduates interested in automotive purchasing. As a Purchasing Trainee you will be based in Bietigheim, Germany, and rotate through four six‑month assignments, including international stays in Prague and Ireland.

Key responsibilities

• Support project buyers in daily procurement activities.
• Participate in interdisciplinary projects across R&D and production.
• Complete rotations in different departments and at international sites.
• Contribute to supplier selection, cost analysis and contract management.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and receive mentorship throughout the program.

Required profile

• Master’s degree from a technical university, graduation date up to June 2026 or within two years after graduation.
• Valid work permit for Germany.
• Short experience abroad (study or work) and some work experience during or after studies.
• Above‑average academic results (ideally a grade point average of 2.0 or better).
