Travel Consultant (German & Amadeus)

About the role

As a Travel Consultant at BCD Travel you will be the primary point of contact for corporate clients, helping them plan and manage their journeys efficiently. You will work remotely or in a hybrid setting, supporting customers across multiple European locations.

Key responsibilities

• Search and confirm travel reservations for customers.
• Interpret and apply client travel policies, offering tailored advice.
• Handle regulatory requirements such as DOT, TSA, passports, and visas.
• Provide industry information on fares, exchange rates, and penalties.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and suggest enhancements to commercial relationships.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of supported travel industries.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a travel agent.
• Proficiency with the Amadeus GDS.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and German.
• Solid understanding of travel industry policies, procedures, and processes.
