Warehouse Technology Specialist – Advanced Automation

About the role

We are looking for a Warehouse Technology Specialist to bridge traditional surface management and next‑generation warehouse hardware at our large civil‑aircraft production site in Hamburg. You will drive the integration of high‑density storage and automated systems to support production ramp‑up, quality and cost targets.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the technical focal point for warehouse technology, advanced storage solutions and physical automation initiatives.
• Analyse warehouse capabilities and capacity constraints to ensure technology solutions match operational needs.
• Integrate cutting‑edge storage technologies, densify warehouse space and redesign storage areas to enable production rate increases.
• Lead layout planning, spatial integration and material‑flow design for both conventional and automated storage systems.
• Provide technical expertise during tender processes, evaluating supplier proposals and assessing feasibility.

Required profile

• Highly self‑motivated and naturally curious.
• Strong customer focus with a solution‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Experience with AS/RS (Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems).
• Knowledge of high‑density cube storage concepts.
• Proficiency in integrating warehouse hardware and automation technologies.
