Werkstudierende – New Commodity Development (w/m/d)

About the role

Join Uniper's New Commodity Development team as a working student supporting the commercial development and marketing of sustainable fuels, with a focus on Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and methanol. You will assist the Commercial Team in research, analysis, and preparation of materials that drive the decarbonisation of transport and industry.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Commercial Team in developing and marketing sustainable fuels, especially SAF and methanol.
• Prepare and follow‑up internal and external meetings and workshops.
• Research market, technology, and regulatory topics related to transportation and industrial decarbonisation.
• Conduct market, competitive and customer analyses and present findings to target audiences.
• Assist in creating management presentations, decision‑making documents, and sales materials.
• Analyse market and project developments to derive recommendations for the team.
• Take ownership of smaller work packages and contribute ideas to ongoing projects.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a master’s degree in industrial engineering, engineering, economics, natural sciences, or a comparable field.
• Strong interest in the energy transition, sustainable aviation fuel, methanol, renewable fuels and decarbonisation.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to quickly grasp complex issues, structure them and present clearly.
• Independent, reliable and structured work style with high initiative.
• Confident communication skills and a passion for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English.
