Working Student – Chief Engineering Office (18h/week)

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a motivated Working Student to support the Chief Engineering Office of the Eurodrone programme. The role is based in Manching and offers the chance to work directly with senior engineers on the overall design and Safe Flight and Landing System of a safety‑critical aircraft.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Engineering Office in day‑to‑day technical and programmatic tasks.
• Coordinate technical analyses across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Support documentation, data management and model‑based engineering activities.
• Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to safety‑critical design reviews and verification activities.

Required profile

• Enrolled full‑time in a university program (e.g., aerospace, mechanical, electrical engineering).
• Available to work approximately 18 hours per week (up to 20 hours during term).
• Strong interest in aircraft development and safety‑critical systems.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
