Working student in Prototyping Engineering (m/f/d)

About the role

Airbus Operations is looking for a working student to support the Protospace department in Bremen. The position is 18 hours per week, starts on 01 August 2026 and runs for 12 months with a salary of at least €19.10 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Design prototype parts using CAD software.
• Build prototypes with various manufacturing techniques and materials.
• Document results and provide recommendations.
• Understand customer needs and develop technical approaches.
• Perform simple maintenance tasks and repairs on machines.

Required profile

• Enrolled full‑time student in aerospace engineering or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Experience with 3D printing.
• Creativity, pragmatism and efficiency.
• Basic programming and electronics skills (micro‑controller, IoT).
• Basic woodworking skills.
• Independent and structured way of working.
