Working Student – Procurement – IT & Ground Systems

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a working student to support the Procurement Commodity Team for IT hardware, software and ground systems. The role offers a 12‑month fixed‑term contract with approximately 18 hours per week, based at the Friedrichshafen site near Munich.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare presentations, spend analyses and ad‑hoc reports for the commodity team.
• Organise internal events, workshops and meetings.
• Manage travel arrangements and expense reporting.
• Execute smaller project tasks and support RfI/RfP processes.
• Assist the Commodity Manager in developing commodity strategies.
• Perform AI prompting tasks as required.

Required profile

• Enrolled full‑time student in Economics, Business Administration, IT, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, discretion and accuracy.
• Fluent English (mandatory); additional German, French or Spanish is a plus.
• Good team player with excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
