1st Level Support Engineer

About the role

Utimaco is looking for a motivated 1st Level Support Engineer to join its global IT security team. You will work in a hybrid environment, providing first‑line assistance to users and helping maintain the stability of Windows‑based infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1st level support and respond to user requests.
• Assist in the installation, configuration and maintenance of Windows servers.
• Perform routine system updates, patches and backups.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
• Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• Edit documentation, procedures and configuration records.

Required profile

• Fluent German and English, both spoken and written.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022).
• Experience supporting end‑users on Windows 10/11.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, basic network protocols and Entra ID.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication abilities.
