Account Manager (m/f/d)

About the role

Are you excited by growing existing customers rather than chasing cold prospects? As one of the first Account Managers at DataGuard you will own a portfolio of customers with significant untapped growth potential and help build the Account Management function from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Own expansion revenue across a strategically selected portfolio of existing customers.
• Shape and implement account management processes, collaboration models and best practices.
• Create and execute strategic account plans to uncover new use cases and engage additional stakeholders.
• Translate customer needs, regulatory changes and compliance requirements into commercial opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with Customer Success and Professional Services to identify and convert opportunities.
• Lead commercial discussions from discovery through negotiation and close, building trusted relationships with key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing revenue targets across existing B2B SaaS customers or named accounts.
• Ability to spot growth opportunities and convert them into upsell or cross‑sell revenue.
• Strong stakeholder management and business case development skills.
• Comfortable working in an ambiguous, fast‑growing environment.
• Fluent in German and English.
