Accountant – Accounts Payable & Finance Digitalization

About the role

As an Accountant you will be a key player in our Accounts Payable operations while helping to shape the future of our finance department. You will work at the intersection of accounting and digital innovation, collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams to create efficient, automated finance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Record, verify and post incoming invoices in the Odoo ERP system.
• Manage payment runs, reconcile bank accounts and clarify open items.
• Ensure consistency between general and sub‑ledgers.
• Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and create statistical reports.
• Lead finance projects focused on digitalisation, process automation and system optimisation, working closely with the IT team.

Required profile

• Completed training in accounting (e.g., tax clerk) or a degree in business administration.
• 2‑3 years of professional experience in accounting, preferably with an accounts payable focus.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (especially Odoo) and confident use of Microsoft Excel.
• Structured, reliable and detail‑oriented approach.
• Strong interest in digitalisation and automation of accounting processes.
• German language skills at least B1 and English at C1 level.
