Accountant – ERP & Financial Accounting

About the role

Join a global manufacturer of quartz devices as an Accountant focused on ERP and financial accounting. You will support the finance team by handling core accounting tasks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and helping to optimise the ERP system.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day financial accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with national tax and accounting regulations.
• Reconcile accounts, perform plausibility checks and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain and further develop accounting processes in Odoo.
• Support optimisation and utilisation of ERP modules.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments and external partners.
• Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of internal control systems and processes.

Required profile

• Completed training as a certified accountant, tax assistant or comparable commercial qualification with a focus on accounting/taxation.
• At least 1 year of professional accounting experience, preferably in an industrial or global environment.
• Strong analytical thinking and independent working style.
• Team player with high attention to detail.
• Very good German language skills (spoken and written) and basic English.
