Accountant – General Ledger & Reporting

About the role

Crane Worldwide Logistics is seeking an Accountant to oversee the general ledgers of five European entities (Germany, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Poland). The role ensures the integrity of income statements and balance sheets while supporting month‑end, year‑end, and audit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounts payable, including invoice sorting, approvals, and timely payments.
• Manage accounts receivable, compute credit notes, and perform credit checks for new customers.
• Administer assets (activation, disposals, depreciation) and handle VAT calculation and filing on a monthly/quarterly basis.
• Create manual and batch payments, perform P&L analysis, and prepare monthly journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Conduct month‑end and year‑end closing activities, balance‑sheet reconciliations, and compute bad‑debt allowances.
• Generate monthly reporting in OneStream and produce IDEV and CBS reports.
• Assist with annual audits and ad‑hoc accounting projects.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of general accounting experience.
• Proficiency with ten‑key data entry.
• Strong Excel skills.
