Accountant Trade Invoicing Services – Hybrid

About the role

Join BASF's Trade Invoicing Team in Berlin and provide high‑quality invoicing services within the Order‑to‑Cash process. You will act as a liaison between IT, supply chain and customer service to resolve complex SAP issues and ensure compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for trade invoicing activities, coordinating with IT, supply chain and customer service.
• Perform end‑to‑end monitoring, exception handling and technical analysis of SAP‑related invoicing topics.
• Test system concepts, correct errors and support the development of invoicing processes in line with legal requirements.
• Provide sales and KPI reporting to business units and support regional and global projects.

Required profile

• Completed vocational training or degree in Business, Commerce or Accounting.
• 2–5 years of experience in invoicing, supply chain or accounts receivable.
• Strong communication skills in English and/or German.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of SAP R/3 and SAP S/4HANA, preferably the SD module.
• Experience with e‑Invoicing projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Teams, Outlook and OneNote.
