Accounting & Finance Manager

About the role

As the Accounting & Finance Manager at JOIN, you will keep the day‑to‑day engine of the company’s finances running across multiple legal entities and European markets. You will ensure that payables, receivables, billing, collections and reconciliations are accurate, timely and increasingly automated.

Key responsibilities

• Process invoices, receipts and payments, verify supplier details and tax treatment, and maintain clean supplier records.
• Reconcile bank transactions and books daily and support an on‑time month‑end close.
• Reconcile revenue and payment‑provider transactions (e.g., Stripe) and flag anomalies.
• Handle billing changes and act as the first point of contact for customer billing and finance queries.
• Support collections by tracing open claims, gathering proof and coordinating with account managers, collections and operations.
• Improve documentation and use AI tools to automate manual finance tasks.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in operational accounting or finance (AP, AR, bookkeeping, reconciliation).
• Solid understanding of P&L and balance‑sheet fundamentals and the ability to spot inconsistencies.
• Strong sense of urgency and ownership, with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
• Confident communicator comfortable reaching out to suppliers, customers and internal teams.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus but not required.

Required skills

• Experience with Stripe or similar payment‑provider platforms.
• Proficiency in accounting software and related automation tools.
• Familiarity with AI‑driven automation tools for finance processes.
