Accounts Payable Internship – Hybrid (Berlin)

About the role

Join BASF's Global Business Services team in Berlin for a six‑month, hybrid internship in the Accounts Payable & Freight Cost Management unit. You will support the processing of supplier invoices, contribute to e‑invoicing projects, and gain insight into the financial operations of a global chemical leader.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and post supplier invoices in the ERP system.
• Assist with e‑invoicing implementation and related projects.
• Clarify account discrepancies and support month‑end activities.
• Collaborate with various BASF units to ensure smooth invoice handling.

Required profile

• Enrolled university student required to complete a mandatory internship.
• Open‑minded, motivated and eager to learn about accounts payable in a multinational environment.
• Strong interest in finance and technical processes.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Confident handling of MS Office applications.
