Accounts Payable Officer (French) – Berlin

About the role

The Accounts Payable Officer will join BASF's Global Business Services in Berlin, supporting the Accounts Payable and Freight Cost Management Department. You will handle invoice processing, account reconciliation, and contribute to automation initiatives within the purchase‑to‑pay cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Check, post and reconcile invoices for BASF Group companies in Europe.
• Verify payment runs and ensure accurate creditor processing.
• Analyze automatically booked invoices and support automation of invoice processing.
• Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to optimise the purchase‑to‑pay process.
• Participate in projects aimed at improving invoice management efficiency.

Required profile

• Commercial business training or a degree in Business Administration.
• First experience in accounting and project work.
• Strong communication skills and openness to change.
• Fluent in French and English.
