Accounts Payable Officer (Spanish)

About the role

Join BASF's Global Business Services team in Berlin as an Accounts Payable Officer. You will support the Accounts Payable and Freight Cost Management department, handling invoice processing for European BASF Group companies while working closely with procurement and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Check, post, and verify invoices and payment runs for BASF group companies.
• Clarify account issues and resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze automatically booked invoices and contribute to automation initiatives.
• Participate in the optimisation of the purchase‑to‑pay process in collaboration with purchasing and finance departments.

Required profile

• Commercial business training or a degree in Business Administration.
• First experience in accounting or finance.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Team‑player with good communication skills.
