Accounts Payable Officer (Spanish)

About the role

Join BASF's Global Business Services team in Berlin as an Accounts Payable Officer who will support the European BASF Group companies. You will work closely with procurement and finance colleagues to ensure accurate invoice processing and contribute to the continuous improvement of the purchase‑to‑pay process.

Key responsibilities

• Check, post and verify invoices for multiple BASF entities.
• Clarify open items and support payment runs.
• Analyze automatically booked invoices and help advance automation of invoice processing.
• Collaborate with purchasing and finance teams to optimise the creditor process chain.
• Participate in projects aimed at improving the purchase‑to‑pay workflow.

Required profile

• Commercial business training or a degree in Business Administration.
• First professional experience in accounting or invoice management.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Strong analytical mindset and team‑player attitude.
