Accounts Receivable Accountant – 1 Year Contract

About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our multinational pet‑e‑commerce team on a 1‑year contract. You will be responsible for managing the full receivables cycle, ensuring accurate posting, reconciliation and support for month‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Post revenue and receivable entries, including fees related to payment transactions.
• Transfer and allocate incoming payments from various service providers to customer accounts.
• Perform bank and receivables reconciliations, including sub‑ledger to general‑ledger transfers in SAP.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes.
• Execute outgoing payments and related postings.
• Handle customer inquiries with an accounting background via Customer Care.
• Respond to information requests from public prosecutors and manage factoring/collection notifications.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably within an internationally oriented trading company.
• Strong numerical affinity and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SAP (sub‑ledger and general‑ledger functions).
