Accounts Receivable Accountant

About the role

As an Accounts Receivable Accountant you will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our receivables processes. You will work closely with Sales, Customer Care and Billing to deliver a seamless customer experience while supporting strong financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Post and allocate incoming customer payments.
• Prepare and post customer invoices, credit notes and invoice corrections.
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Resolve open items and payment allocation issues with internal stakeholders.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Prepare reconciliations and reports for the Finance team.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Care and Billing on accounting‑related topics.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of AR processes and finance transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Several years of experience in Accounts Receivable Accounting or a similar finance role.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced international environment.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Workday).
• Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
• Advanced Excel skills.
