Advisory Sales Engineer - Strategic AI

About the role

As a Sales Engineer you will architect high‑performance storage solutions for AI, HPC and data‑intensive workloads, working with customers across finance, pharma, education and autonomous systems.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with customers to understand data challenges such as high‑frequency trading, genomics processing, AI model training and autonomous vehicle sensor fusion.
• Design scalable storage architectures for AI/ML training, HPC simulations, data analytics and GPU‑accelerated workloads, including reliability, security and performance considerations.
• Create BOMs, system architectures and technical proposals for complex RFPs; conduct live demos, POCs and performance benchmarking.
• Stay current on AI infrastructure and storage technology trends and collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape product direction.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of storage and data architectures (SAN, NAS, object storage, parallel file systems) and related protocols (S3, POSIX, NFS, SMB).
• Fluent German and ability to communicate technical concepts to both engineers and executives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Entry‑level (0‑3 years) or experienced (3‑8+ years) candidates are considered, with relevant pre‑sales or solutions architecture background.
