AI Automation Engineer Intern

About the role

As an AI Automation Engineer Intern in Solution Engineering, you will connect Tacto’s procurement intelligence platform with customer data to deliver measurable value. Working closely with customers and internal teams, you will design data pipelines, configure the platform, and help showcase ROI during the sales process.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable pipelines that transform customer procurement data into actionable insights.
• Lead technical onboarding from kickoff to completion, collaborating with customer IT teams.
• Customize the Tacto platform to match each customer’s procurement and supplier management requirements.
• Analyze ERP and procurement data to quantify savings and risk‑reduction for sales leads.
• Develop reusable analytical frameworks and AI‑native workflows to accelerate proof‑of‑value delivery.

Required profile

• Strong business acumen and interest in understanding customer needs.
• Experience programming with SQL and handling data import, cleansing, validation, and exploration.
• Familiarity with BI tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
• Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
