AI Software Engineer – Berlin

About the role

We are looking for an AI Software Engineer to join our Berlin‑based digital product team. You will design, develop and integrate large‑language‑model (LLM) applications and AI‑powered services that serve thousands of users across Germany.

Key responsibilities

• Develop backend components and integration layers using Python and TypeScript/Node.js.
• Implement, fine‑tune and evaluate LLMs, Transformers and other NLP models.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and micro‑service architectures for AI services.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers and other engineers to shape architecture and roadmap.
• Ensure code quality through testing, CI/CD pipelines and code reviews.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript/Node.js.
• Hands‑on experience with AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Familiarity with LLM integration, model fine‑tuning and evaluation.
