Analytics Engineer – Finance

About the role

As an Analytics Engineer in the Finance department, you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality data to support financial control, planning, and tax reporting. You will work within Vinted’s Analytics Engineering Guild, collaborating with cross‑functional finance teams to build reliable data pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines that ingest, transform, and store finance‑related data.
• Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and availability for reporting and analysis.
• Identify and implement data‑related process optimisation opportunities.
• Collaborate with finance stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.

Required profile

• Proven experience building data pipelines in a finance or analytics environment.
• Strong understanding of financial data concepts and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
• Self‑motivated with a focus on delivering high‑quality, production‑ready solutions.
