About the role

We are looking for an Android engineer to build the native Android experience for BJAK's AI Neobank app. The role focuses on clean user flows, fast performance, product quality and shipping reliable mobile features used by real customers.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship native Android features for onboarding, accounts, cards, payments, transfers, rewards and AI‑assisted journeys.
• Transform complex financial flows into simple, fast, reliable mobile experiences.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend and AI engineers from concept to production.
• Own app quality, including performance, crash rate, loading states, edge cases and release stability.
• Use production feedback, analytics and customer behaviour to iterate on shipped features.
• Integrate APIs, authentication, secure data handling and financial workflows with a focus on reliability.

Required profile

• Proven experience shipping native Android applications used by real users.
• Strong understanding of Android architecture, Jetpack components, Coroutines and Flow.
• Passion for clean user flows, high performance and product quality.
• Ability to debug production issues and improve app reliability.
• Comfort with ambiguity and fast‑paced startup environments.
