Android Engineer for AI‑Powered Neobank App

About the role

We are seeking an Android Engineer to develop the native Android experience for BJAK’s AI‑driven neobank application. You will work closely with product and design teams to deliver clean, high‑performance mobile features that serve real customers in the financial services space.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and ship Android features using Kotlin.
• Create seamless mobile flows for insurance, payments, claims, renewals and broader financial services.
• Collaborate with product and design to simplify complex user journeys.
• Integrate backend REST APIs, ensuring stability, security and reliability.
• Optimize app performance, crash rates, loading states, responsiveness and memory usage.
• Leverage analytics and production issue data to continuously improve the product.
• Develop AI‑assisted mobile experiences where they add genuine user value.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong fundamentals in Android and a track record of shipping production apps.
• Passion for clean user flows, high‑quality UX and reliable code.
• Ability to work autonomously, take ownership and deliver quickly.
