Applied AI Engineer

About the role

We are building a self‑maintaining source of truth for AI‑native companies – a context repository that keeps knowledge structured, up‑to‑date, permission‑aware and ready for every AI agent. As an Applied AI Engineer you will design and scale the backend that powers a company’s brain, enabling AI to reason over live company knowledge instead of static data.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the core backend logic of the context repository.
• Build and optimise the sync process that transforms raw data sources into a structured, graph‑based context.
• Develop high‑performance retrieval and ranking using hybrid search, rule‑based logic and identity resolution.
• Productise complex logic through clean APIs and modular components (CLI, API, etc.).
• Build evaluation and experimentation frameworks to continuously improve contextual accuracy.

Required profile

• Passion for distributed systems and high‑complexity logic problems.
• Fluent in TypeScript or Python with a focus on clean, scalable architecture.
• Ability to turn research and theory into production‑grade product.
• Bias for ownership and comfort in fast‑paced, early‑stage environments.
• Endlessly curious, pragmatic and committed to making AI truly useful.
