Assistant Purchasing Manager – Hotel Operations

About the role

The Assistant Purchasing Manager supports the hotel’s Food & Beverage operations by ensuring that all departments have the supplies they need to run smoothly. Working closely with the F&B Operations Manager, you will handle administrative procedures and help maintain an organized storeroom.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and optimise inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
• Maintain an orderly storeroom and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and track purchase orders against financial targets.
• Support various F&B projects and provide cover for colleagues during absences.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to streamline procurement processes.

Required profile

• Professional experience in a similar purchasing or procurement role, preferably within hospitality.
• Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
• Creative mindset and willingness to try new approaches.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a personality that fits a collaborative team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard office IT tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets).
