Associate Account Director – Medical Communications & Marketing

About the role

Real Chemistry Germany is seeking an experienced Associate Account Director to lead day‑to‑day activities across medical affairs, marketing and communications accounts. You will act as the primary client liaison, manage project delivery, and drive growth opportunities within a fast‑expanding global agency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead assigned accounts, serving as the main point of contact for clients.
• Oversee budgets, timelines and forecasting to ensure successful project execution.
• Collaborate with creative, strategy and content teams across Germany, EMEA and global offices.
• Identify and develop growth opportunities in existing accounts.
• Support new‑business initiatives by contributing to proposals and pitches.
• Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and development.

Required profile

• Current experience as an Associate Account Director or Senior Account Manager.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver complex projects.
• Strong autonomous work ethic combined with a collaborative team mindset.
• Fluent in German and English.
