Associate Consultant – Insurance

About the role

Join Wavestone as an Associate Consultant in Insurance, supporting large international insurers on regulatory risk and finance transformation projects such as IFRS 17, LDTI, IFRS 9 and CECL.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in implementation projects for insurance regulatory standards and financial transformations.
• Tailor existing software solutions to meet specific client needs and support project delivery.
• Gradually assume additional responsibilities within project teams and internal offering development.

Required profile

• Degree in accounting, economics, finance, mathematics, actuarial science, engineering or a comparable field.
• Strong analytical and conceptual abilities, hands‑on mentality and willingness to travel occasionally.
• Interest in building a career in financial risk management within the insurance sector.

Required skills

• SAS 9.4 programming.
• Basic knowledge of Python or R (nice to have).
