Associate Degree Nursing Faculty – Teaching Position

About the role

The Associate Degree Nursing Faculty member will join the Allied Health Department at Phillips Community College, delivering theory and clinical instruction to ADN students on the Stuttgart campus. This full‑time, non‑tenure position supports the college’s mission to provide high‑quality nursing education in Eastern Arkansas.

Key responsibilities

• Provide classroom and clinical instruction for Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) students.
• Maintain regular, posted office hours for student advising.
• Participate in college and nursing committee work and contribute to ongoing curriculum development.
• Develop and deliver distance‑education and web‑enhanced courses.
• Travel to clinical sites within an 80‑mile radius and periodically to other PCCUA campuses.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing with at least two years of recent clinical experience (required).
• Master’s degree in nursing with two years of recent clinical experience (preferred).
• Previous experience in nursing education (preferred).
• Active, unencumbered Arkansas RN license.

Required skills

• Clinical competency in nursing practice.
• Proficiency in teaching methodologies, including distance education.
