Associate Frontend Developer

About the role

Gulf Associates is seeking an Associate Frontend Developer to help build and maintain digital interfaces that support advisory teams in visualising complex market data. The role is fully remote and will initially focus on a major engagement for a Munich‑based industrial client, creating front‑end components for counterparty analysis and investment scenarios.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web‑based dashboards that turn market data into clear, actionable visualisations.
• Translate design requirements and wireframes into high‑quality, responsive code.
• Ensure stability and performance of internal tools used during high‑stakes client negotiations.
• Maintain a consistent visual language across digital reports and presentations.
• Identify and fix front‑end bugs to provide a reliable experience for internal users and client stakeholders.
• Assist in structuring data for easy access and display by front‑end applications.

Required profile

• Basic familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3, including responsive design principles.
• Logical problem‑solving approach and ability to break down complex tasks.
• High attention to detail, especially regarding UI consistency and data accuracy.
• Clear communication skills and ability to explain technical constraints to non‑technical colleagues.
• Disciplined remote‑work habits with self‑management and milestone delivery.
• Academic or project experience demonstrating ability to build functional web components.
• Interest in the commercial side of industrial sectors and data‑driven investment decisions.
