Associate Lead – HR (Düsseldorf)

About the role

The Associate Lead – HR supports the HR function in Düsseldorf by delivering people‑related services, assisting managers, and ensuring smooth HR operations. You will manage the employee lifecycle, contribute to HR projects, and help implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute onboarding and off‑boarding processes, serving as the main point of contact for new hires and exiting employees.
• Provide guidance to employees on HR‑related matters and support engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
• Assist in implementing HR policies, processes, and initiatives; coordinate HR surveys and projects.
• Support managers on HR topics, handle employee relations issues such as conflicts, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
• Contribute to talent management, retention initiatives, and organizational change communication.
• Maintain HR documents, contracts, letters, and employee records; ensure HR systems are up‑to‑date.
• Perform routine HR administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Several years of experience in HR or a similar function.
• First‑hand experience with German labour law.
• Experience working in a matrix environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Structured, detail‑oriented working style.
• Fluent in English and German.
