Associate Web Developer

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Web Developer to support the technical execution of advisory projects for a Berlin‑based partner. The position is fully remote and blends basic front‑end development with an interest in how technology underpins high‑stakes investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update internal web applications that track counter‑party behavior and investment data.
• Develop clean, responsive front‑end components using HTML5, CSS3 and basic JavaScript.
• Create data visualisations to simplify technical reports for clients.
• Manage website assets to ensure high performance and uptime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve layout or browser compatibility issues.
• Support secure, private web portals for sharing sensitive materials.
• Document technical work clearly for team reference.
• Collaborate with senior advisors to iterate digital formats that support commercial positions.

Required profile

• Fundamental understanding of web architecture and standard coding practices.
• Practical knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and basic JavaScript.
• Disciplined testing to ensure accuracy before client delivery.
• Strong commercial curiosity and desire to understand investment logic.
• Excellent written and verbal communication without excessive jargon.
• Ability to follow design guidelines and technical requirements.
• Highly organised and capable of managing tasks independently in a remote setting.
• Basic familiarity with version‑control systems such as Git.
