Back-End Developer for E‑Mobility Startup

About the role

Join Aampere, a seed‑stage, VC‑backed startup transforming the European used‑electric‑vehicle market. As a Back‑End Developer you will build and own scalable services that power fast EV sales and dealer access.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain production‑grade backend services and APIs using TypeScript and Nest.js.
• Create clean, scalable architectures and make pragmatic technical decisions.
• Work with AWS (S3, EC2, RDS, Lambda) to ensure reliable cloud operations.
• Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines covering testing, linting, builds, deployments and rollbacks.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, sales and engineering to ship features quickly.
• Take ownership of the systems you build and contribute to the platform’s technical evolution.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience building production backend systems and APIs.
• Strong understanding of clean, scalable software architecture.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving early‑stage startup environment.
• Excellent communication in English.
